ELECTROSTATIC PROTECTED AREAS (ESD) – CLEANTEX CLOTHES MAINTENANCE

FOLLOW THE CARE SYMBOLS TAG!

WASHING
We recommend washing at 60°C (fabric clothes) or 40°C (knitted clothes). When washing all the clothes in the washing machines have to have zips and press buttons done up to prevent zip opening while washing. Opened zips can cause material galling and shorten clothes durability.

WASHING POWDER/LIQUID
Use common washing means except strongly alkalic ones. Do not use alkalic ingredients such as washing “intensifiers” nor whitening ingredients which contain chlorine. When used repeatedly with washing the alkalic environment can lower polyester fibres durability. The washing powder/liquid must be completely solute when washing to prevent sediments stay on the fibres surface. Washing liquid is suitable. After washing do not use any antistatic nor softening means – clothes are permanently antistatic. We offer an advised washing liquid CLEANTEX ECO, enzymatic, applicable at low temperature, one pack of 5 kg or 10 kg. (Use of this washing liquid is not a necessary condition, following the instructions above is sufficient.)

DRYING, IRONING
Clothes centrifuging is possible at lower speed (c. 400 turns/min), in a drum dryer it is possible to dry fibres clothes at a lower temperature. We do not recommend to dry knitted clothes in a dryer.

150°C ironing (fabric clothes) and 110°C ironing (knitted clothes). Higher temperature will cause fibre damage!

ANTISTATIC CHARACTERISTICS ARE GUARANTEED
50 washing cycles (more is possible according to following specific maintenance rules)

CLEANROOMS (CRC) – CLEANTEX CLOTHES MAINTENANCE

FOLLOW THE CARE SYMBOLS TAG!

It is necessary to wash the clothes before the first use to get rid of all the dust elements.

WASHING
We recommend washing in a drum washing machine at the temperature of 60°C. At this temperature common dirt is usually easily removed from the clothes surface. If the clothes are very dirty washing at higher temperature is possible (up to 90°C) but the product will get creased.

When washing all the clothes in the washing machines they have to have zips and press buttons done up to prevent zip opening while washing. Opened zips can cause material galling and shorten clothes durability. Clothes must not be washed with cotton clothes together. That loosens elements that could stay on cleanrooms clothes.

WASHING POWDER/LIQUID
Use common washing means except strongly alkalic ones. Do not use alkalic ingredients such as washing “intensifiers” nor whitening ingredients which contain chlorine. When used repeatedly with washing the alkalic environment can lower polyester fibres durability and damage zip surface, especially the zip slider.

The washing powder/liquid must be completely solute when washing to prevent sediments stay on the fibres surface. Washing liquid is suitable. When washing soft demineralised water must be used. Only demineralised water should be used for the last rinsing.

After washing do not use any antistatic nor softening means – clothes are permanently antistatic. We offer an adviced washing liquid CLEANTEX ECO, enzymatic, applicable at low temperature, one pack of 5 kg or 10 kg. (Use of this washing liquid is not a necessary condition, following the instructions above is sufficient.)

DRYING, IRONING
Clothes can be centrifuged at lower speed (c. 400 turns/min), dried in a drum drier at lower temperature or freely hung in a cleanroom or a box.

Ironing is usually not carried out. When following the instructions of washing, centrifuging and drying appropriately, it is not necessary.

If ironing is necessary you can iron the clothes at the temperature 110°C (one point on the iron). Higher temperature will cause the fibre damage!

Higher grade of crease is usually caused by higher temperature washing, larger amount of load in the washing machine or by more intensive centrifuging.

STERILISATION
You can sterilize the clothes by steam (134°C, 10 minutes), by ethylene oxide, gamma or beta rays.

When steam sterilization it is necessary to store the clothes folded (piled), with straight folds to prevent creasing.

For demanding maintenance conditions we use zips resistant to washing and sterilization which follows.

ANTISTATIC CHARACTERISTICS GUARANTEED
50 cycles of washing or sterilization (more is possible according to following specific maintenance rules)
